I've had a busy week so far, last thursday (6 days ago) I went to see my first festival fringe thing - One Man star wars trilogy (http://www.onemanstarwars.com) (1 guy acting out all 3 original films in 1 hour, doing every part and vehicle/explosion) Which was really cool and funny - also saw 2 stormtroopers outside which i wasnt expecting. On monday I went to see chanbara (http://www.chanbara.net) (Tumakto Drummers and Samurai swordsmen (from the sword masters of kill bill)) Which was loud but also very good. Last night I went to see a late night performance of 1984 by amatuer actors which was decent but doesnt compare to the others.

Onto Exam results :P Here is how they are done

//Credit//
1
2
//General//
3
4
//Foundation//
5
6
//Fail//
7

I was sitting Credit and General in all subjects, I thought I had failed maths but turns out I didn't.

I got :

Histroy : 1
Computing : 2
Biology : 2
Drama : 2
English : 2
German : 2
Maths : 2

So I'm really happy with that - and I got everything I need to do higher next year in History, Computing, Biology, English and Maths as you need a credit grade to do Higher.

My street seems to be pretty unlucky for car crashes... ages ago, a truck went through a front window of a house up abit, looked really weird it sticking out of the house.

A few years ago I was standing right next to a car crash when it happened right across the street. (kinda made it happen - oops, was standing in the drive way, not knowing the car wanted in.)

A few months ago a car crash happened a few metres away from the last one.

Last night I heard a bang, like a door slamming really loudly, looked out the window, saw 2 cars there, and something at the front of the car. Thought it was debris from the car or something, then I heard the groaning in pain :? Maybe it's just me that's unlucky.

Easy to switch between locations.

Beside that is the babel fish translator widget, connects with the online site and translates, faster, easier and very nice.

Beside that is the latest trailers from apple trailers - click on it to view the trailer.

Say it : Little utility, type in text and click say it and the computer says it.

Below that : Google search bar.

Beside that : Bandwidth monitor - shows info on how your connection is, shows a graph, how much you have downloaded and uploaded.

Above that is a system clock thing, telling me how long my computer has been on.

The dragon background and appearance theme are from themexp.

Screenshot 2 : http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v146/James2004/desktop2.jpg

A picture of a website (wonder what one it is :P) that has come under attack by "ShootIt" widget, you can see the ammo belt up in the top right, select your weapon and click on the screen, it works on any surface, so you can shoot your least favourite person's picture if you so desire :P Also along with the default missle, knife, shotgun, rifle, machine gun, you can download ammo packs with banana splats, flamethrowers, water pistols etc.

Here are the interesting contents of eloise's letter :

She said how the plane journey was long but they watched films. New York was scary, but she survived "woohoo!"
Pheonix was boiling, even hotter than prescott. Times got messed up so she missed half the staff training but everyone is freindly so she is coping. She has played paintball and shot a councellor in his "bottom". She did a week of hiking and arts and crafts which was quite boring. Theme of a week was super-heroes so she was "Super-Scot" and she wore her scotland flag as a cape. Once a week she has to stay up till 12 to make sure the kids dont escape. She hasn't seen any snakes or scorpions, but alot of lizards. They have huge bees, bout 2 times the size of ours. They had to run through a forest for a mile to get away from a thunder storm. One week she had 4 councellors and 28 7-8 year olds, sometimes only her against 28 of them :P Enough for now, il write more later.

Also got a Jet li film "Hero", my dad got a cd, and I got a game thats £20 off the normal price called "Boilling Point" On the way uptown the bus got stopped by a "orange parade" with loads of drums etc going out in front of traffic with huge police escort. Bus diverted down a cobblestone road with a speed bump lol, bumpy ride and a half in a big double decker bus while being upstairs :P Came home and there was a letter from eloise, 4 sides long, took her 1 and a half hours to write!
Well its a knockout was cancelled due to bad weather today, might have it some other time though :D I'm really enjoying english at the moment, the teacher does things an interesting way, he puts everything into examples and physical representations, like hes had someone act by improvising, hes had a story when a classmate was shot, and today he was talking about newton and friction (he went off on a tangent), and also today I was a word, and i had to hold hands with 2 connotations which was weird. Fathers day today, I gave my dad a cd and card. School tommorow, usual subjects, boring last few periods though as it is a study period and college (college hasnt started up yet, so its double study period), and seeing as I don't have much to study yet, it ends up being really boring.
